Cross-Function Integration Of Segmentation

Promotions – Mapping to Segmentation

Segmentation supports multiple business locations and promotions support a single location. In order to map promotions, the location of the segmentation has to match precisely the location of the promotion. Segmentation can not have more than one location set for it in order to map promotion.

Mapping business location is mandatory for promotions to be set up. And, changing location on the same segmentation will be denied if promotion is attached to the segmentation, and vice-versa.

Examples Of Segmentation – Promotions

Loyalty Case – Offer 10% off to members with a loyalty program called “1-year”.

Segmentation Rule:

Job

Data Status = Active or Archive

Job Status = Closed or Completed

System Tag (Services) = Job-1-year-Loyalty

Age (Job) = Within 1 year

Guided Action List – Mapping to Segmentation

Guided action lists have similar requirements like promotions – business location has to exactly match – not more, not less.

Segmentation supports multiple business locations and GAL supports a single location. To map GAL, the segmentation's location has to match the location of the GAL. Segmentation can not have more than one location set for it to map GAL.

Mapping business location is mandatory for GAL to be set up. And, changing location on the same segmentation will be denied if GAL is attached to the segmentation, and vice-versa.

Examples Of Segmentation – Guided Action List

Connect with Customers – Create action items for Sales Agents.

Segmentation Rule: Create an action item in the Quote created tag the sales agent and assign tasks to the sales agent to contact the customer.

Notifications – Mapping to Segmentation

Notifications have similar requirements as promotions and guided action lists – business location has to exact match – not more, not less.

Segmentation supports multiple business locations and notifications support a single location. To map notifications, the segmentation location has to match precisely the location of the notifications. Segmentation can have more than one location set for it but there has to be at least one common location between segmentation and notification.

Mapping business location is mandatory for notifications to be set up. And, changing location on the same segmentation will be denied if notification is attached to the segmentation, and vice-versa.

Examples Of Segmentation – Notifications

Send cold emails to prospects who are newly converted from Lead Generation in Brooklyn.

Customer
